SERDANG, April 29 - The Mega Raya Aidilfitri 2024 event which was celebrated was held by all the Responsibility Centers at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to strengthen friendships among UPM citizens in addition to feasting on the dishes prepared along with interesting activities inserted to color this happy day. The Counseling Division of UPM (BKUPM) was also involved in organizing the 2024 Mega Raya Aidilfitri celebration at the Auditorium, BKUPM on 23 April 2024, Tuesday, starting at 10.00 am until 4.00 pm where the men were dressed in baju Malay and the women in baju kurung.

Tentative ceremony begins with the arrival of the guests, the recitation of the prayer ceremony led by the President of the BKUPM Welfare and Recreation Club, Mr. Mohamad Shafiq Mahadi, followed by a speech of welcome from the President of the BKUPM KKR and the welcome of the Head of the BKUPM Division, a session of Raya commemorative photos on the BKUPM Auditorium stage and a dining session with enjoying meals prepared by BKUPM officers and staff. The main menu of the event is curry noodles and among the interesting potluck menus such as chicken and meat satay, ketupat, peanut sauce, glutinous rice flour, lemon water, fried rice, oil rice and various sweets, a dessert table is prepared to satisfy the appetite of the guests present. .

Also not to be missed, the ceremony continued with the game 'RAYA GAME' to cheer up and cultivate the virtue of charity while building sweet memories while spending time with guests and BKUPM residents. The first game is 'wrapping roll' duit raya. The way to play is the player sincerely gives an envelope of duit raya, and arranges it in a line on the stage and rolls the 'wrapping roll', when it stops at the envelope, the player will take it and show it to the 'video creator'. The second game is to guess the Raya menu, players have to guess the Raya menu using the 'emoticon' symbol on the phone, if correct they will be able to taste the Raya cake/dessert menu while on the other hand they will receive powder makeup on their cheeks. The final game, carol continuation karoake, the host will stop the song and players have to guess the continuation song, if correct, just like the second game will receive dessert and instead receive powder makeup on the cheeks.

There are many benefits of holding this event, among which holding this event encourages solidarity among the staff in carrying out the victory celebration of fasting worship together. This strengthens the bond and loyalty among them.‍ This also shows appreciation for cultural diversity in the organization. This builds good understanding between staff from different backgrounds.‍ Build harmony and better understanding among staff. Apart from that, it provides space for the release of emotions and tension at work. This helps improve the emotional well-being of staff.

It is our hope that KKR together with BKUPM people can meet and maintain this blessed and joyful Raya event every year.
